July Trip Part 1 of 2: In what was supposed to be a trip to Montana, I ended up railfanning the Columbia Basin. Sometimes you just need to follow the sun, and with storms pouring out of Canada into Montana, hanging in sunny central Washington was better for photography. The trip started off a bit rough as I was going on a weather report showing Stevens Pass clearing off by the afternoon. I should have made a bee line to Wenatchee as the west side was socked in with rain and clouds while the east side was sunny and clear. The clouds from Canada started to cover the sky by the middle of the second day, but disappeared that evening. That being said, I did get a number of shots that I've long wanted to get around Wenatchee including the Rock Island Dam scene. Enjoy!
